The CEO of the Polygon Foundation disclosure of pledge and token economics reform proposals, with pledge proceeds expected to nearly double
On 23 August, Sandeep Nailwal, Chief Executive Officer of the Polygon Foundation, commented that the team was working on the details of a proposal to reform pledge and token economics. The core elements of the proposal include: the introduction of an L1-like primary pledge mechanism on Polygon POS; the full allocation of priority costs per transaction to POL pledgeers; the expected doubling of pledge proceeds and full funding from real network costs rather than inflation; the provision of additional benefits (possibly including Gas fee discounts) to POL pledgeers; and locking in SPOL growth to maintain liquidity and can be used in DeFi. Sandeep states that Polygon Labs will prepare the code and submit it to the Community Forum for approval。
