Stable currency markets have lost $10 billion since May
The stable currency market has lost about $10 billion since it reached its historic high in May 2026. Total supply declined by $7.7 billion in June to approximately $312 billion, the largest monthly decline since the collapse of TerrausD in May 2022. Current data show that Tether's USDT is about US$ 18.415 billion and Circle's USDC is about US$ 73.41 billion. USDT still accounts for nearly 59 per cent of the market, indicating a high dependency on these two largest dollar-backed tokens. While small compliance distributors continued to expand during the same period, overall market pressure continued。
