Strategic collaboration between Nvidia and Cloverleaf for data centre infrastructure development

On 21 August, Nvidia and Cloverleaf announced strategic cooperation aimed at promoting the development of United States digital infrastructure. According to the agreement, Nvidia will hold a minority interest in Cloverleaf. Cloverleaf provides electricity and infrastructure support to assist the AI plant to ensure electricity supply. Nvidia also plans to invest $1.5 billion to SB Energy to support its 10 GW data centre project related to OpenAI. Hoang In-hoon, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nvidia, stated that AI was becoming the infrastructure of industries and that land, electricity and infrastructure had become critical during the AI era. Cloverleaf stated that the investment would help its clients and utility partners meet the growing demand for accelerated computing。
