Cathy Wood: Circle is expected to be a major beneficiary of technological subversion of the traditional financial system
On 24 August, ARK Investment CEO Cathy Wood stated that, despite the 84 per cent increase in stock prices since IPO, the one-year chart showed that open market pricing had been inefficient; since the listings of Visa (V) and Mastercard (MA) in 2006 and 2008, the share price had risen approximately 33 times and 150 times, which had benefited the analysts recommended for “low buy-in” and, therefore, it was difficult to understand that Circe was a subversive company. But technology is driving change in the traditional financial system, and Circe is expected to be the main beneficiary。
