President of the Korean Finance Committee: Legislative preparations for the second stage of the Stabilisation Currency Basic Law have been completed
According to edaily, the President of the Korean Finance Committee, Li Billion, stated that the Government had almost completed the second phase of legislative preparations for the Digital Assets Basic Law relating to the stabilization currency, which would expedite consultations with the National Assembly with a view to introducing the bill this fall and completing the legislation within the year. Ten bills related to digital assets and the stabilization currency are currently pending before the Korean Congress, and the Chairman of the Council of State may also propose a unified version of the Government's programme next month. The South Korean government has previously included stabilization currency regulation, bitcoin spot ETF, etc., in the digital asset system-building agenda for the second half of this year。
