Cursor's GitHub competition, Origin, opened unexpectedly, for Agent
Cursor ' s code hosting platform, Origin, was unexpectedly open to some users and compatible with Git, specifically for the design of an AI agent HF reading, writing and submission. Early users tan the page shows that Origin supports the one-key import of a warehouse from GitHub, the automatic resolution of consolidation conflicts and global synchronization below 400 ms. A single warehouse can process about 22 submissions per second and about 296,000 clones per hour. This opening appears to have been an accident, and Cursor subsequently informed the user that it was only a preliminary test by Origin. At the same time, Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke also opened its bottom-up Git architecture project, known as Walgit, with recapitulation of the Origin self-study Continuity. Wallgit achieved more efficient warehouse management by storing final data in S3。
