ZachXBT: BitcoinIRA and iTrustCapital have suspected data leaks this year
On August 24, the chain detective ZachXBT stated that, after reviewing the relevant evidence, it was believed that two United States investment platforms, BitcoinIRA and iTrustCapital, were suspected of having leaked data this year, but that none of the relevant incidents appeared to have been publicly disclosed. Disclosures allegedly included user personal data, portfolio holding, bank information, custodian information and authentication status. ZachXBT states that in June 2026, an assailant used relevant database information to attack a BitcoinIRA user and stole more than $1.2 million in assets. It contacted two companies on 21 August for comments, but no response has been received to date。
