The TAC block chain was attacked by a Cosmos EVM loophole and approximately $7.5 million was stolen
On 25 August, according to Bits.media, the Rayer 1 block chain project TAC confirmed that hackers had stolen approximately $7.5 million from an account using a pre-circulation gap in the Cosmos EVM module to transfer some 2,986 million TAC coins from the escrow account. The projector indicated that no new currency had been created and that the attack concerned only TAC and that other assets had not been affected. TAC suspended the network at 24,671,475 blocks, and all transactions and value additions have been frozen and the stolen funds are being tracked in cooperation with the exchange。
