Shipyard will cease its IPFS-related engineering, maintenance and infrastructure operations on 30 September
On 25 August, the IPFS ecological development team, Shipyard, announced that, as Protocol Labs decided not to renew the funding, Shipyard would cease work, maintenance and infrastructure operations related to IPFS on 30 September. The core items of Kubo, Helia, IPFS Desktop, which are maintained after the shutdown, will no longer have specialized maintainers, and the future of public infrastructure, iipfs.io, dweb.link, and the IPSAS pilot node will be determined by Protocol Labs.
