Empery Digital: 1,179 BTCs held and $65 million planned to be invested in retrofitting data centres
Wu stated that it had been informed that the Bitcoin Treasury company Empery Digital had announced that it currently held 1,179 BTCs, approximately $62 million in cash and $35 million in liabilities at the BTC price of $79,800 and included in the data centre at cost, and measured the value of net assets per share (NAV) at $4.83. The company also plans to invest $65 million in a 25 per cent equity interest in an entity related to the 150 MW facility, to be converted to the AID data centre, and the transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter. According to Empery Digital, the facility has signed a letter of intent for three net leases and high-investment-level counterparties, and it is expected that the total rent for the entire lease period will amount to up to $2 billion. Based on its equity, the company is expected to receive more than $440 million in cash flow, and the rent is expected to start paying early in 2027。
