Binance hired two compliance managers to strengthen the compliance team

According to Bloomberg, Binance hired two senior compliance managers from Crystal.com to strengthen its compliance team. Antonio Alvarez will serve as Deputy to the Chief Compliance Officer of Binance, Noah Perlman, and Duncan Deville will serve as Global Financial Crimes Compliance Officer. Both previously served in Cripto.com, with compliance experience from Coinbase, Visa, Western Union and the United States Treasury Department. This personnel adjustment took place against the background of the separation of a number of compliance staff from Binance over the past year and the ongoing regulatory review. In 2023, Binance continued to strengthen its compliance system following a $4.3 billion settlement agreement with the United States judiciary for failure to maintain an effective anti-money-laundering compliance system。
