Digital rubles paid to Russian telecommunications operators and electrician platforms since September

On 26 August, Bits.media reported that three major Russian telecommunications operators, MTS, Rostelecom and Megafon, had announced that they would accept digital rubles as of 1 September. MTS will support the use of digital rubles for all services in MTS Pay, its payment module, without class restrictions. Restelecom initially supported only a one-off payment by the network, which will be extended to personal accounts, with regular payments and automatic charging to be ready for the central bank platform. Megafon also treated it as an additional payment. Digital rubles were also announced on the same day by the Wildberries and Ozon electrician platforms. In accordance with the law, all large Russian enterprises have been able to handle digital rubles since 1 September, and the APP of the 12 system-critical banks has been required to set up digital rubles wallet entrances.
