Deutsche Bundesbank: Good luck in Iran, German government debt return Okay

The Deutsche Bank reported that good news from Iran had contributed to the decline in oil prices, that German national debt had generally been boosted, and that a 10-year German debt return was being tested at a level below 3.2 per cent. Erik Liem, an interest-rate strategist at the German commercial bank, stated that German government debt was strong, both in absolute terms and in relation to the swap period, and contributed to a decline in the rate of return, but the yield spread on eurozone government bonds remained poor. Despite a narrow margin of return on the domestic debt of the euro area, the variation lags behind the overall trend in energy prices and is close to what was observed in the early stages of the Iranian war。
