Taurus shares the books with SWIFT and supports the payment of tokenized deposits

The digital asset infrastructure provider, Taurus, announced that it had linked its monetization and hosting platform to SWIFT's block chain-sharing books to provide financial institutions with a means of making all-weather cross-border payments using bank-issued token deposits. According to Taurus, the first customer connection is expected to be completed in a few days and the initial distributed bookings are scheduled to start in a few weeks. Existing customers can add the connection to an infrastructure that is already operating in production, while banks without their own block-link systems can use the Hyperledger Besu infrastructure provided by Taurus and the Taifeng virtual machine. It also supports institutions that already operate Besu or other EVM compatible systems. The co-founder of Taurus, Lamine Brahimi, stated that financial institutions needed digital asset infrastructure that could work safely with their existing systems. SWIFT ' s shared books are intended to serve as a level of coordination among participating agencies for the transfer of tokenized deposits。
