39 state banking associations in the United States formed the Bank Chain Alliance to build their own network of block chains

On 27 August, 39 state banking associations in the United States established Bank Chain Alliance, which plans to establish a network of block chains jointly owned and governed by banks in the community and in the region, with a target date of 2027. The network is intended to support the functions of monetization deposits, stabilization of currency, programmable payments and automatic settlement, with the aim of helping small and medium-sized banks to access block block financial infrastructure while complying with existing regulatory standards. Currently, Bank Chain has not published technology suppliers, bottom block chains, network structures, governance models and regulatory frameworks, nor is it clear whether it is based on existing public chains such as XRP, Taifung or Solana. The Alliance indicated that the network was expected to cover thousands of United States financial institutions。
