The British Central Bank issued a financial stability report for the pound sterling and a high return on British debt
On 7 July, following the release of the British Central Bank ' s Financial Stability Report, the pound sterling continued to trade near the euro at a high level in almost a year, while the rate of return on British Treasury debt remained high and remained almost unchanged. The report states that, despite the evolving situation in the Middle East, the British financial system remains resilient and continues to support the real economy. However, vulnerability remains in risk assets, sovereign debt markets and high-risk credit markets. The British Financial Conduct Regulatory Authority and the British prudential Supervisory Authority are reviewing measures such as removing the countercyclical leverage buffer from bank leverage requirements and reducing the leverage-level minimum capital requirement from 3.25 per cent to 3 per cent。
