A MEMBER OF THE ABU DHABI ROYAL FAMILY HELD 49 PER CENT OF THE SHARES OF THE NEW WLFI BANK HOLDING COMPANY
On 28 August, a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family and United Arab Emirates national security adviser, Tahnoonbin Zayedal Nahyan, and a co-investor, held 49 per cent of the shares of WLTC Holdings, the new banking holding company of World Liberty Financial, with approximately 38 per cent of the shares of the Trump family associated entities. The U.S. Monetary Supervisory Authority has granted initial conditional approval this month to World Liberty to establish a national trust bank to issue, foreclose and host USD 1, its stable currency. Tahnoon also invested $500 million and acquired 49 per cent in WorldLiberty through another entity last year, of which some $263 million went to the Trump family-related entities. (WSJ)
