Solana proposal SIMD-0437 first functional switch activated on the test grid

On 28 August, the Solana Core Development Team Anza pushed that the first functionality switch of the Solana proposal SIMD-0437 had been activated on the test grid. The proposal includes a total of five functional switches with the goal of reducing Solana storage costs by 90 per cent as a whole. Upon completion, the lamports per byte will be reduced from 6960 to 696, and the rent-free deposit on the token account will be reduced from approximately $0.16 to $0.016。
