Galaxy adds 24/7 emergency service to the Helios data centre
Galaxy announced the establishment of 24-hour fire, rescue and emergency medical services in cooperation with the industrial safety provider, Total Safety, at its Helios data centre in Dickens County, Texas. The agreement will provide medical and rescue personnel at the Helios data centre, with the aim of reducing pressure on local volunteer first aid personnel. Nevertheless, Galaxy did not disclose the financial terms of the contract, the date of commencement of staffing or full service. Total Safety will provide ongoing emergency coverage of events on the Helios campus. The service includes fire response, technical rescue, medical care and EMT support. Galaxy indicated that the field team would complement, rather than replace, local volunteer fire and first aid services. The aim of the company is to deal with school events without increasing the workload of community counterparts。
