MANTRA ISSUED A LEAK REPORT AND THE ATTACKERS MOVED $3.6 MILLION MANTRA

AMTRA issued a report on the security incident of 20 August, in which the attackers, using a leak in the whole number of Cosmos EVM, transferred 72092.4 million MANTRAAs from two addresses, amounting to approximately $3.6 million at a unit cost of 0.005. Of these, 6 million were from destruction sites and 121 million were from multi-signature addresses. The attack did not involve a certifier or administrator key. The loophole was repaired at the development branch on 15 May and merged into the launch branch on 19 August. On August 21, at 11:06 (UTC + 8), the first unusual transfer took place, AMTRA Chain was shut down at 15:13 (UTC + 8) and restarted on August 22 at V8.4.0. Of the stolen funds, 683.0 million have gone to the exchange ' s filling address, while the remaining 3,79.6 million have been frozen and the recovery of funds is in the law enforcement investigation phase。
