SBI proposed to purchase 20 per cent of Indonesia's Ajaib shares at $270 million, to expand the Japanese yen to stabilize the South-East Asian layout
On August 28, CoinDesk reported that the Japanese financial group SBI Holdings planned to purchase 20 per cent of the shares of the Indonesian online voucherer Ajaib Group by the end of August with $270 million. The transaction is intended to facilitate the issuance and application of JPYSC in South-East Asia and to build cross-border settlement infrastructure based on block chain technology. Ajaib provides online vouchers, foreign exchange bonds, encrypted currency and asset management services in Indonesia, which will help the SBI to access the local retail investment market. SBI has also recently acquired the Singapore Encrypted Currency Exchange Coinhako and invested in the Digital Securities Trading Platform DigiFT to build a regional digital asset infrastructure network。
