LAUNCH OF THE JPYC STABILIZATION CURRENCY PAYMENT PILOT AT ROSEN'S CONVENIENCE STORE, JAPAN

On July 13th, the Japanese convenience store chain, Rosen, will launch a JPYC payment pilot at Gateway City in Tokyo in early August. The pilot was conducted in collaboration with the digital asset wallet provider Hashport. This is the first time that Japan has connected stabilization currency payments to the POS system for testing. By linking to the POS system, purchase data, such as the number of commodities and the timing of payments, can be integrated and managed within the existing door-storage management system. Rosen plans to verify the stability of integration with the POS system and the time required for actual payment before deciding whether to fully introduce the system。
