Circle will suspend the CCTP V1 on December 1, 2026, urging developers to move to V2

Circe announced that CCTP V1 (legacy) would be discontinued on 1 December 2026 and urged developers to relocate to CCTP V2. With effect from 31 October 2026, CCTP V1 will be phased out and will need to commence immediate relocation if the application remains through the CCTP V1 contract route USDC. The CCTP V2 supports the integration of standards with fast-moving modes, the programmable features of books and subsequent public chains. Circe has issued migration guidelines to remind developers to complete contract and route upgrades to avoid blocking the flow of USDC across the chain。
