SK Telecom splits AI data centre operations into SK Horizon, with $2.2 billion to be introduced

SK Telecom splits the AIDC operations into a new entity, “SK Horizon”, and plans to introduce $2.2 billion in external funding. The break-up was expected to be completed by 1 February 2027, with the possible involvement of KKR, IMM Investment and Stonebridge Capital consortiums。
