Baghae: Iran-United States memorandum of understanding in crisis phase

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Baghae, stated that the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States was in a crisis phase and that Iran would not comply with it as long as the United States continued to violate its commitments. It also mentioned that Iran had consulted Oman in Muscat only on the Strait of Hormuz, that no other issues were planned for discussion and that the objective of negotiating with Oman the establishment of a safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz had not been achieved owing to pressure on Oman。
