Anthropic considers allowing shareholders to sell shares in IPOs and abandon SpaceX

Anthropic is developing a programme to allow existing shareholders to sell some of their shares in their heavy IPOs, taking into account a longer-term stock lock-down than would be the norm after listing. The arrangement of a second sale of the old shares in IPO would distinguish Anthropic from two other large technology listed companies this year, SpaceX and Cerebras, both of which did not allow existing shareholders to sell shares in the IPO phase. In recent years, large technology enterprises, such as CoreWeave and Figma, IPOs, have been allowed to sell shares while issuing new shares. This sale will enable the Anthropic shareholders to realize the enormous wealth accumulated over the past few years. The company ' s private fund-raising valuation went up to $965 billion in May this year. The Investment Bank has discussed the IPO valuation of $1.5 trillion, which is slightly lower than SpaceX ' s IPO pricing valuation。
