Cosmos Labs released an EVM module security incident report, resulting in $5.72 million in damage from attacks on six chains
Cosmos Labs released the EVM module security incident report, and between 20 August and 25 August, the attackers used the Cosmos EVM loophole to steal funds from multiple Cosmos chains. Six networks were attacked, approximately $2.87 million of assets were sold at the DEX following the bridge, approximately $2.85 million of assets were sold at the CEX, and the CEX account used by the attackers was frozen. A further 13 potential risk networks completed repair or protection in a timely manner without loss. The loophole was reported on 25 April through the leakage reward scheme。
