OpenAI declared the Cursor agreement closed and set the November deadline

OpenAI announced that the direct access agreement with Cursor would end on 12 November 2026, following SpaceX ' s completion of the $60 billion acquisition of Cursor. OpenAI stated that changes of ownership raised concerns about future compliance and informed SpaceX that the agreement would be phased out. OpenAI indicated that the future model, Astra, would no longer be available to Cursor through the current agreement, with emphasis on supporting the needs of developers during the transition period。
