IT'S REPORTED THAT EVERY $100 THAT AI EARNS, ALMOST $40, GOES TO THE CLOUDS

On 30 August, according to numerous media reports, Barclays Bank of the United Kingdom recently reported in a study on the AI industry that AI Models would receive about US$ 100 per revenue, of which US$ 35 to 40 would flow to three major cloud giants in the form of reasoning costs, namely the Amazon Cloud Technology Corporation (AWS), the Azure Cloud Service Platform under Microsoft and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Cloud service providers are able to earn about $10 to $20 in business profits, corresponding to up to 35 to 45 per cent. At the same time, the profitability of AI ' s fee reasoning operations has risen significantly, from a low double-digit level in 2025 to 50 to 65 per cent or higher in 2026, with the adjusted Māori ratio increasing by 30 to 50 percentage points each year.
