Castle Labs: Financial ecological interpretation of the Bitcoin chain
According to a report released by Castle Labs, the market value of Bitcoin reached $1.3 trillion, but only 1.5 per cent of the BTC activity was used to generate income, with most of the rest stagnating. In contrast, 32.5 per cent of the assets of the ETA were pledged. Bitcoin lacks primary rates of return, which need to be achieved through such pathways as packaging, a second layer of network and DeFi, but this also entails trust risks such as hosting, bridges and smart contracts. Bitcoin original financial cases, such as Stacks, are trying to reduce the presumption of trust and achieve mechanisms such as self-custody pledges and POX-5 to generate revenue. At present, the total value of the Bitcoin DeFi locket is approximately $5.2 billion, still well below the size of its reserve assets。
