Goldman Sachs secretly controls American retirement funds
Goldman Sachs confirmed that on 9 July he had won a commission to manage retirement assets totalling $70 billion, involving two leading United States companies: Verizon and Lockheed Martin. The transaction consisted of approximately $30 billion in pension assets and about $40 billion in Willison ' s defined contribution to retirement assets (usually 401 (k) schemes). Goldman Sachs ' outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) operations managed approximately $48 billion in assets as at 31 March. This strategy of Goldman Sachs reflects the trend of outsourcing by United States enterprises in the management of retirement investments, especially in the face of complex portfolio management and growing demand for alternative assets。
