THE US DOLLAR AND FINANCIAL RISKS ARE BURNING, AND THE KOREAN DIASPORA IS IN THE GOLD ETF
According to the Korean Journal of the Seoul Economy, as market concerns over the fiscal position of the United States have increased, gold is no longer merely a beneficiary asset in the downward trend in interest rates, but is also seen as a tool to counterbalance the decline in the value of the dollar and fiscal risk. According to data released by ETF Check 30, over the past month, Korean diaspora investors have purchased a net of 10 domestic ETFs linked to spot gold and gold futures, amounting to 114.020 billion won (approximately $79 million). Of these, 5 spot gold ETFs received net purchases amounting to 10,8652 million won. Individual investors bought ACE KRX Gold Spot worth 70,166 million won and Tiger KRX Gold Spot worth 33,526 million won, respectively. Five gold futures ETFs attract a total of 5,368 million won in bulk investors。
