OpenClaw 2.0 Release: 7 weeks to hold out the biggest update in history

OpenClaw announced the launch of OpenClaw 2.0, the largest update of the project to date. 933 developers participated in over 16,000 PRs, or about half of the total project history consolidated PRs. This update focused on lowering the use threshold and automatically identifying existing ChatGPTs, Claude subscriptions, API key and local models at the time of installation to reduce manual configuration. The browser end was also re-engineered to support direct chat, to continue the task and to manage the session, and to allow many people to join or take over the same task. Updates also cover news, memory, skills, models, automation, plugins, security and primary applications. The team acknowledged that the previous release had been too fast, that the bottom structure and the release process were no longer up to date and that the frequency of updates would continue to decrease in the future。
