SAMSUNG IS DEVELOPING AN 8TH FLOOR HBM4E FOR YOUNG WEIDA

According to Korean media reports, Samsung electronics are working with the British Vida (NVDA) to develop an 8-story seventh-generation high bandwidth storage (HBM4E), which is significantly lower than the planned 12- and 16-story programme. The speed specification proposed by Weida is 17-18 Gbps, about 20 per cent higher than the initial HBM4E 14.4 Gbps. The product was reportedly used for NVHBM。
