Digital assets project buy-backs of approximately $638 million in currency
According to the Financial Times, the Digital Asset Project has repurchased approximately $638 million in self-denominated currency since this year, up from $545 million in the same period last year, of which hyperliquid and pumpfun together account for nearly 90 per cent. Hyperliquid used 99 per cent of its transaction fee revenue to repurchase hype, which had been purchased and destroyed $1.3 billion worth of tokens since December 2024. sky Protocol has repurchased $26 million in tokens, and Lido plans to repurchase regularly once conditions, such as annualized income of $40 million, have been met. Analysts suggested that repurchases could reduce the availability of tokens and release confidence, but there remained uncertainty about their real impact on prices。
