Sale of confiscated Anthropic shares by the United States Government, sale price and financial whereabouts undisclosed
On 31 August, according to information received, the United States Government had sold the confiscated shares of Caroline Ellison and Nishad Singh, two core SBF allies, who had invested $10 million and $40 million, respectively, in Anthropic financing. On the basis of the Anthropic 96.5 million United States dollars valuation, the value of the two equity holders ranged from approximately $4.17 million to $50.3 million, with an estimated value of $5.44 million if the value were to be marketed at $200.0 million. The current value of government sales is between US$ 25 million and US$ 110 million and has not yet been transferred to the FTX bankruptcy administration. The representative of FTX victims, Sunil Kavuri, requested the Government to use the funds for compensation, and the United States Department of Justice stated that priority was given to providing compensation to victims。
