THE ASSETS OF THE BUIDL REACHED $2.8 BILLION, RETAKING THE LARGEST DOLLAR PRODUCT OF CURRENCYIZATION
On 1 September, the assets of the BuIDL Fund, under the flag of Asset Management Company BlackRock, recovered to approximately $2.8 billion, re-exceeding the United StatesYC under the flag of Circle, making it the largest monetized United States Treasury product. BUIDL accounts for 18.5 per cent of the $15.5 billion dollar dollar-denominated debt market. BUIDL was launched in March 2024 and is managed by Securitize, a block chain asset service, currently covering eight block chains, including Etherum, Solana, Aptos and BNB Chain. The net target value per token is $1 and the daily gains are accumulated through a rebalancing mechanism. BuIDL was surpassed by USYC in March 2026 and regained its first place at the end of August. Underlying assets include cash, short-term United States Treasury bonds and buy-back agreements, Moody's was awarded the AAA-mf rating to the Fund earlier this year。
