Ark and Glassnode Joint Study: Bitcoin Goes to Centre Analysis

Ark Invest and Glassnode published a joint study on 1 September, analysing the decentrization of Bitcoin, the Ether and Solana. The study found that only three entities were able to cross the production thresholds of bitcoin and the utsung block, while 19 were needed in Solana. The report states that while the three companies are considered entities in statistics, this does not mean that they control bitcoin or Ethera. The Hashi rate threshold for Bitcoin is 51 per cent, compared to 33 per cent for the Taifeng. The report also analysed the performance of networks in terms of multiple dimensions, such as ownership, exit liquidity, validation costs, and critical flexibility, and concluded that Bitcoin was ahead of the Ether and Solana in decentrization。
