Echo Base assisted in the formation of the BitMart creditor committee to recover frozen assets
Echo Base assisted in the formation of the BitMart Creditor Committee on 2 September to engage legal counsel to assess the recovery programme on behalf of users holding frozen assets. Echo Base submitted a financial programme of up to $10 million on 6 August to support BitMart in its application for bankruptcy, but did not respond. Sonn Law Group is investigating users who have been frozen in BitMart for $500,000 or more. According to Echo Base CEO Roshan Dharia, BitMart's employee plan is only operational until January 2027.
