Steve CEO: Company is the second-largest marketed Bitcoin owner in the world at the end of the year
On 4 September, Strove CEO Matt Cole indicated that after the August single month of 3,156 additional BTCs, the company could become the second-largest publicly listed company in the world, after Strategy, by the end of 2026. He stressed, however, that this was not its baseline expectations and required a combination of factors. Cole notes that the Strive currently has over $700 million in unlicensed equity certificates, which will expire in mid-October. If the company's equity price goes through its rights-in-the-carriage price of $27, the conversion of the certificate of rights could bring several hundred million dollars to Steve for further purchase of bitcoin. He indicated that if about $700 million of digital credit capacity were added, the company could potentially buy BTC capital capacity or reach $1.4 billion. Strive significantly accelerated the pace of purchase in August, buying 3,156 BTCs a month, and only 136 more in July. The company currently owns 23,156 BTCs, valued at nearly $1.9 billion, and has become the world ' s fifth-largest-listed Bitcoin Treasury, exceeding the encryption exchange Bullish last week. The current second-largest-listed Bitcoin holder is Twenty One Capital, holding 43,514 BTCs, about twice as many as Strive. On the basis of the 17 weeks remaining before the end of the year, if Twenty One does not hold up any more, Strive requires an average of 1,200 BTCs per week to go beyond. According to the article, Twenty One has not added BTC since July 2025, so the goal is theoretically possible。
