Cheonan Warning Users: Fish texting surged

On 3 September, coin-Ann warned encrypted money users that there had recently been an increase in fishing attacks and that the attackers had been fraudulently committed through text messages disguised as an account security alert. Bian stated that the fraudster had sent a message that the account setting had been changed or that there was a suspicious log-in activity. These messages contain shorter links and induce users to “validate” or “protect” their accounts. It did not disclose the number of users who had received the information, nor did it provide loss data related to the event. Fraud messages are designed to be similar to official notices, often warning users of unexpected log-in, account set-up changes or other security issues requiring immediate action. It recommends that the user activate the white list of withdrawal addresses in order to limit withdrawals to the wallet address approved by the account holder and to increase security protection。
