Binance maintains EU customer business without MICA license

According to Bloomberg, informed sources, Binance still maintains part of its EU client operations through “reverse outreach”, for example, without having obtained a MICA licence. According to the source, Binance interprets the provision as continuing to accommodate active, not marketed, EU users and to direct some of its EU clients to the Abu Dhabi entity. Binance had previously withdrawn the MICA licence application submitted in Greece and indicated that it would move to another EU Member State for authorization.
