Monthly inflation rate in the United States is projected to decline by 0.2 per cent in June

According to analyst Emmanuel Sheridan, a significant decline in gasoline prices and a projected 0.2 per cent decline in the consumer price index in the United States in June will be recorded for the first time since the outbreak, driven entirely by a 15 per cent decline in gasoline prices between mid-May and the end of June. Annualized inflation is expected to slow to 3.8 per cent from 4.2 per cent in May.
