Kimura II: Amendments to the Financial Commodity Transactions Act will facilitate the transformation of the regulation of encrypted assets
At the Webx 2026 Forum, Member of the House of Representatives of Japan and Finance Member of the Partido Democrático Democrático de la Liberación de Saguía el-Hamra y de Liberación de Saguía el-Hamra y de Saguía el-Hamra y de Río Democracia (LDP), Jakuhara, stated that the amendments to the Financial Commodity Transactions Act, currently under consideration in Congress, would facilitate a further shift in the targeting of encrypted assets from means of payment to investment commodity regulation and lay the institutional foundation for the entry of block chains into the traditional financial system. Other participants, such as Kimura, said that the encryption asset ETF, the separation of proceeds from encrypted assets from other income and taxing them at about 20 per cent of the tax rate, and the possibility of allowing trade losses to be used to offset future profits, had helped to attract traditional financial institutions and institutional investors to markets, and had also discussed liability reserve requirements and the relaxation of the existing two-fold leverage limit。
