Joint statement of the United Kingdom and the United States of America on stabilization currency to promote convergence of regulatory frameworks
U.U. stated that the United Kingdom and the United States Government, through the Transatlantic Futures Working Group, had issued a joint statement on the stabilization currency, stating that they would promote convergence of regulatory frameworks between the two countries in appropriate areas and support the use of stable currency for cross-border payments, settlements and capital markets. The parties are of the view that the stable currency used as a currency should be fully supported by high-quality liquid assets at a minimum rate of 1:1 and that the reserve assets should be segregated from the issuer ' s own funds and guaranteed to be redeemed in a timely manner. If the issuer enters insolvency, reorganization or disposal proceedings, the holder shall have clear, protected and priority over the legal claim of other creditors in respect of the reserve assets。
