Russian-American joint plan for ISS operation to be completed by 2030

On 15 July, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Manturov Secretariat, released information that, following the visit of the Director of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States of America, the Russian and American sides had drawn up a joint plan to complete the operation of the International Space Station by the end of 2030. The two sides also discussed the emergency mutual assistance between national orbital stations, the moon exploration cooperation project and joint experiments in space medicine and biology. The International Space Station began construction in 1998 with an initial design life of 15 years, which was extended several times. The core module of the Russian segment, the "Star" service module, has had a persistent problem of leakage since 2019. (In Russian)
