On 15 July, at local time, on 14 July, the House of Representatives of the United States Congress voted for the passage of the summer-time bill, which was permanently enforced, and submitted to the Senate for consideration. In May this year, the United States House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce passed the Sunshine Protection Bill by 48 to 1, which is designed to permanently eliminate the United States practice of adjusting time twice a year and to make summer-time permanent.
