IBM STOCK PRICES FELL BY 25 PER CENT AND MARKET VALUES EVAPORATED AT $50 BILLION
The IBM suffered a sharp drop of 25 per cent in its largest fall in 58 years, market value evaporated about $50 billion, and stock prices fell from $290 to $215, the worst trading day since 1968. The CEO Arvind Krishna states: “We have not been able to adapt and adjust quickly this quarter.”
