Keel Infrastructure: Progress on the Quebec data centre project
Keel Infrastructure, a Bitcoin mine listed in NASDAQ, announced progress on its data centre project in Quebec, Canada. The company has obtained local government approval to sign an agreement with Hydro-Sherbrooke to transfer and operate the existing 96 MW power capacity and to sign an agreement on land purchase. Keel indicated that the power resources of the three bitcoin mines under the flag would be consolidated into a 96 MW campus and that it had been authorized to reclassify some of the power uses from bitcoin mining to high performance calculations (HPC) and the AI data centre. The project will continue to require approval from the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy of Quebec。
