Perp DEX Ostium attacked, with an estimated loss of $18 million

On 15 July, Ostium, a platform on Arbitrum for the renewal of the RWA contract, was attacked, with an estimated loss of $18 million, or approximately 35 per cent of its treasury size of over $34 million. The attackers allegedly used the private key of the person who signed the premonition machine to submit a favourable price for the future time using the registered PriceUpkeep transponder and to recycle the silos in order to exhaust the treasury. Ostium has not yet received an official response。
